What is Pes Anserine Bursitis?

Pes anserine bursitis is a condition that causes inflammation of the bursa, a jelly-like sac located between the skin bone and the three tendons of the hamstring muscle around the inner, upper area of the knee. This condition happens when the bursa becomes irritated and produces too much fluid which results in swelling and pressure on the knee, causing pain and discomfort.
